“You live in an imperfect world and work in the marketplace that at present is under the control of the evil one. Consequently, you can find plenty reasons to be upset, even angry, at the marketplace in general and at your job in particular. However, anger gives the devil an opening into a Christian’s life. An angry Christian poses no threat to satan. In fact, it give him room to work (Eph 4:27). Anger neutralizes our effectiveness because it is the opposite of grace, and grace is God’s remedy to the evil caused by sin."

“Joseph, Daniel and Esther had to make peace and accept situations that were not what they would have chosen, yet they did because they wanted God to be able to reveal His purposes for them…If they had quit because their task were humiliating, they would never have fulfilled their destinies. This is why it is essential for you to take the first step and become part of the marketplace; then accept and sanctify your station in the marketplace."

"I suggest that right now you declare that your job (or lack thereof) is God’s gift to you.  Your attitude will determine your outcome. “  Ed Silvoso,  Anointed for Business.
