One of my dear friends turned me onto this resource on www.ibethel.org which is somewhat of a prayer, offering and declaration. Whatever you chose to call it, one thing that it truly is, is POWERFUL. Try making it a declaration in the morning, and in the evening. It keeps you focused on God's character, His promises and off of ourselves. This resource is not JUST a prayer, but if you can receive it, it becomes a spiritual assault rifle of grace. This past Sunday, as we gave in the offering, I wrote on the envelop: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
Every act of giving and thanksgiving is a declaration of God's faithfulness IN OUR LIVES. It becomes weapon able to take down strongholds in a single bound! Like David in 1 Samuel 21, we must eat the showbread (communion) and take the sword of Goliath (the cross) and face forward!
