Had a great time this afternoon speaking at Missionaries on the Move in New Rochelle. As a church, they have been around for about a dozen years, and are led by the wonderful and anointed Elizabeth Payne. They are enthusiastic and love worshiping God. Awesome.
I shared on the topic of Facing Forward. During times like these, the tendency is to 'look the other way' when bad stuff happens. We all do it. We ignore or deny it; but doing so doesn't make it better or force it to go away.
Ephesians 5:15-20 gives us a biblical design for facing forward: walk precisely, redeem the time, worship and most of all, be thankful. It was a wonderful word that encouraged us all to believe the Lord and keep facing forward to where Jesus is standing.
