We start BOLD today, Tuesday. Since our last meeting some things have changed. We know who will be running for President and Vice-President; we know that Hanna was a storm; and that Freddy and Fannie are two very expensive problem children. What has not changed is the reason we come out on Tuesday afternoons. When we tear ourselves away from our desks, phones, blackberries and in boxes, we are redirecting our attention to someone and to something. The Someone is God, and the Something is prayer. Whenever the Someone and the something come together, the some ways of our lives come together. I like what Chuck Pierce writes in his book Worship Warrior: "When the Lord launches a new thing, He builds new relationships with us. In fact, such freshness of relationship is the cornerstone of each new season and each spiritual breakthrough." And frankly, with every new season comes a new set of situations and conditions that will require God to breakthrough for us. We don't know what they will be but we can know that the key to our spiritual breakthrough will depend upon the depth and the quality of our relationship with Christ. Deo a Mano. Funny thing about Vision: whatever we focus on we attract. Whatever we behold, we become. On Tuesdays we come to behold God and his faithfulness. The result is a transformation that takes place from the inside out.
