This week, Pastor Pete Scazzero spoke about Jesus' presence in the midst of the storm. His disciples were just following their Master's instructions by getting into the boat and sailing to the far shore [in the middle of the night].
They hit this crazy squall which is about to capsize their boat, when they see Jesus walking along on the water adjacent to the boat. One thing leads to another and the next thing Jesus is sitting in their boat and the squall stopped squalling.
My take-aways from this account are facts:
1. God is in the storm.
2. God is greater than the storm.
3. God will lead us through the storm.
This week on Wall Street there will be a lot of squalls. The difference will come by our awareness of these three facts: God is there, He's bigger than the biggest storm and by getting Him in our boat He will lead us through the storm.
If you are available to come out for BOLD this week on Tuesday, 12:45pm - 1:30pm @ St. Bart's on Park Avenue, we will be seeking God, praying for His will, His Kingdom and spending time in his presence.
