One of my early mentors, Hampton Kealthley III from Bible.org wrote an outstanding study titled: The Seven Laws of Harvest, [click here to access this study], and within the first section Keathley makes an amazing point.

"Did we bring the Bible to these shores? Did it not rather bring us? The breath of the ancient Prophets was in the sails that drove the tiny Mayflower .It has been said that South America was settled by the Spanish, who came to that land in search of gold, but North America was settled by the Pilgrim Fathers, who came in search of God. That is what made the difference."
The way anything begins effects its outcome. "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."—2 Corinthians 3:17.

That is why prayer and faith are the most important tools of any spiritual person, because the depth of a foundation predicts the height it will attain. I thank God for the spiritual heritage that distinguishes this land of freedom.
